Explanation of how the woocommerce plugin works with Catermonkey

Have you already created a webshop using the well-known Woocommerce system for Wordpress? If so, a link is possible. It works as follows.

  • When someone places an order in your webshop, it will be received in your Woocommerce environment, just as it is now.

  • In the background, the order, including all details, is transferred to Catermonkey and added as an order.

  • This gives you the advantage of production lists, kitchen lists, etc., and you don't have to retype anything.

Installation:

  • Download, upload and activate the plugin.

  • After activation, go to Settings > Catermonkey settings in WordPress.

  • Enter the API Key (without quotation marks), which you can find in your Catermonkey account on the "Links & Integrations" page.

A few things to keep in mind:

  • Catermonkey matches the ordered products by name. So if you have a product called 'Hamburger' in your webshop, make sure there is also a product called 'Hamburger' in Catermonkey. If it doesn't exist and is ordered anyway, Catermonkey will automatically create it. You can then configure all the settings for ingredients and so on in Catermonkey.

  • Please pay attention to the date field. In Woocommerce, a date field is often added to the checkout form for the date of the party, for example via the'Order Delivery Date Pro' plugin. It is important that this is also transferred correctly to Catermonkey. Please contact us via chat so we can check how this is set up in your shop. (If you do not do this, the date of the order will be set to 'today' in Catermonkey, instead of the desired delivery/collection/event date entered by your customer, which is obviously not ideal).
