Use formats to quickly create quotations!

Formats are very useful if you often have recurring orders with the same products, or as a template to quickly get started on your quotation. In this article, you will learn how to create, edit, and delete formats, and how to use them.

How do you create an order format?

There are two ways to create a format:

1. Via an existing assignment/quote

In the list view of the calendar, there are three dots next to each order (next to the price). If you hover/click on those three dots with your mouse, you will see a list of options. This includes the option to create a format from this order.

If you click on this, a pop-up will appear indicating that the format has been created.

2. Via tools

Click on Tools in the calendar. At the top, you will see the option Manage formats for assignments and quotations:

Here you can manage all formats, but you can also create new formats:

When you click on + create a new format, it looks like you are entering an empty assignment, but what you see here is an empty format. You can recognise this by the blue background and the word "Format" at the top:

How do you customise a format?

Open Tools in the calendar > Manage formats for assignments and quotations. Here , click on the format you want to customise. The changes are saved per block, just like in an assignment.

How do I delete a format?

Open Tools in the calendar > Manage formats for assignments and quotations.

Next to all formats, you will find a cross to delete them:

If the format is already open on your screen, click on the delete icon:

How do I use a format?

Click on + New item in the calendar and select Assignment.

You can then continue with a blank order or click on one of the formats to create a new order:
