Introduction
A quote that looks like your own business makes an impression. That is why we design a quote template from your website: with your logo, your colours, your photos and the way you present yourself. New accounts get this template automatically. If you already use Catermonkey, we are happy to make one for you on request.
Good to know: this is free and available on every plan. The template is added next to your existing templates; we do not replace or change anything you already have.
What is in your template
We read your website and build a quote of several pages from it:
your logo and the colours of your brand;
photos from your website, of your dishes, your venue or your team;
text about your business, in your own words: who you are, what you offer and what customers say about you.
The template is in your account's language. We only use what is on your website and make nothing up. Still, read the text through before you send your first quote.
New to Catermonkey: your template arrives by itself
Did you enter your website when you signed up? Then we design your template while you explore your account. It is usually there within twenty minutes.
You get an email: Your quote template is ready, with a preview of the first page. Click Open your template.
In the app you see a window saying Your quote template is ready. Click Explore your new template.
Closed the window? The bar at the top keeps showing Your new quote template is ready, with Take a look →, until you have looked at the template. You can also find the message in your notifications.
When you create a new quote after that, your new template is ready and waiting.
Already a customer: ask us for a template
Already using Catermonkey? Send us a message in the chat or email support@catermonkey.com with your website address. If you have more than one brand, tell us which brand the template is for.
We create the template for you. When it is ready, you get the same email and the same notification in the app. Your existing templates stay exactly as they are. Want to use the new template for new quotes from now on? Click Use for new quotes in the window. The account owner sees that button.
Changing your template
The template is yours. You find it under Gear > Quote, Email & Brands > Quote Templates. There you change the text, photos, colours and pages however you like, or start fresh. How the editor works is explained in Quotation templates.
Would you rather we changed it? Click Ask us to help, free of charge in the window and tell us what you would like different, like the layout, the colours or an extra page. You can also simply reply to the email.
Frequently asked questions
Does it cost anything? No. The template and the changes we make for you are free.
Does the new template overwrite my own templates or my logo? No. The new template is added. Your existing templates, your brand and your logo stay as they are.
I signed up, but I did not get a template. That can happen if you did not enter a website, or if we could not read your website well. Send us a message and we will take a look and make one for you.
Are the text and details correct? We only use what is on your website. Do check your contact details, prices and terms before you send your first quote: those should be in your own words.
I do not have a website. Can I still get help? Yes. When you choose a template, click Create a quote template for me and send us a message, with an example of a quote you like if you have one.
