Would you like your customers to pay their invoices more quickly? You can! By linking Catermonkey to Mollie, you can add a payment link to your invoice emails. As soon as the customer pays, this is automatically recorded in Mollie with a unique reference. In this article, you’ll learn how to activate the integration and use the payment link.

First, activate the integration with Mollie or Stripe.

Once you have activated the integration, add the payment link to the invoice email template. To do this, go to Quotation, Email and Brands: Customise email templates.

Click on Invoice – First email (or another template you use for sending invoices). This is the template you’ll see first when sending the invoice. Then insert a variable:

And under ‘Invoicing variables’, click on ‘Invoice – payment link’:

Save the changes and, if necessary, add the variable to other email templates as well, such as Invoice – First Reminder, Invoice – Second Reminder and

Invoice – third reminder.

You can also add a QR code to the invoice.
Once you’ve activated the Stripe/Mollie integration, it will automatically appear at the bottom left of the invoice.

Prefer not to have a QR code on the invoice? Then you can disable it. Go to Settings (cog icon at the bottom left) > Quotation, email and branding > Customise invoice layout > Header/footer, payment terms and invoice numbering.

Untick the box next to ‘Show QR code on invoice’?

In the order, at the bottom under Sales Invoices, click on + Create an invoice.

Click ‘Send invoice to customer’. The payment link is currently displayed as a green variable, but will be linked to the automatically generated invoice number once sent to the customer.

When the customer pays via the link in the email, the invoice is automatically marked as ‘Paid’ in Catermonkey.
