Want to manage your own function rooms or meeting rooms in a clear and organised way? In Catermonkey, you can easily add, manage and link your own locations to assignments. This allows you to see at a glance when a room is occupied or available.
1. Add your own location
Click on Locations in the green menu bar on the left.
Click on New location at the top left.
Enter the location details, such as name and address.
Tick the 'Own location' box.
Click on Save changes at the top right.
2. View location calendar
Click on Tools on the right.
In the window that opens, click on Location calendar.
Here you will see all 'own locations' in calendar view, including when they are occupied or available.
Locations are automatically filled in as soon as they are linked to an assignment.
3. Linking a location to an assignment
Go to your Calendar and open the assignment for which you want to add a location.
Click on the Location field in the assignment.
Type in the name of the desired location.
Is your location not listed yet? Click on Add new location.
Enter the start and end times for the location.
Click Save changes at the bottom.
Now go back to your location calendar – you will see that the location is marked as 'occupied' within the selected time block.
