[Microsoft (Outlook)/Office 365] Setting up your email address in Catermonkey

Do you use a Microsoft (Outlook) or Office 365 email address?

When setting up your email in Catermonkey, select the Microsoft option.

How to set it up:

Click on the cog icon (Settings) at the bottom left.

Go to Quote, Email & Brands.

Click on Email Settings and select Microsoft.

Click on Connect to Microsoft Account.

An external Microsoft window will now open. Log in here with the general email address you want to use in Catermonkey, for example, info@... or sales@....

You will receive a notification to grant Catermonkey access.

Click Accept.

✅ The link is now established!

Tip:

Send a test quotation or invoice to yourself to verify that the email arrives correctly — and that it is visible in your sent items.

After setting up a general email address, you can also set up a separate invoicing email address or personal email address (in my account).


Are you receiving the following message?

First, authorisation is required from a Microsoft Admin account. This depends on the security settings within your Microsoft environment.

How it works:

  1. Click on ‘Connect with Microsoft’.

  2. Log in with a Microsoft Administrator account.

  3. A screen will appear asking you to give permission on behalf of the organisation. Agree to the requested permissions.

After granting permission, you will automatically return to Catermonkey. Click on "Disconnect Microsoft" and ‘Connect with Microsoft’ again and log in with the desired email address. From that moment on, you can complete the connection.

If you do not have administrator rights yourself, please contact your IT specialist or the person who manages or installed your Microsoft environment.
