You can add login details to a widget to use it as a private webshop for a customer. Or to make it easier for returning customers to place requests or orders without having to re-enter their details each time. In this article, we explain how to set this up!

Step 1: Add a login screen to a widget

In your Catermonkey account , go to Website Widgets. Click on the widget to which you want to add a login screen.

In the last step (the contact form), scroll down to Set what happens when a request comes in. Here, tick the box for Returning customers can log in:

Fill in the address bar and match exactly

In the Settings for this widget, Website Settings, fill in the entire address bar and tick the box next to address bar must match exactly.

Please note! The next step only works if the widget is already online on your website page.

Step 2: Send login details to the customer

Log in to Catermonkey and go to the Customer Database. Select the customer to whom you want to give login details for a specific widget.

In the customer card , select the widget that this customer should be directed to after the login details have been created.

Once you have selected the widget, click on the button 'Give customer login details'.

The email will be sent to the email address entered in the customer card.

The email that the customer will receive looks like this:

When the customer clicks on Accept invitation, they will be taken to a page where they can create an account on your website.

This looks like this:

Once the customer has filled in all this information and created an account, they can log in to the widget from then on.

When the customer logs in to make a request or order, the details known in Catermonkey's customer profile will already be filled in for the customer in the contact form.
