Why am I getting an error message or ‘Internal Server Error’?

An internal server error usually indicates a system error, but can also be caused by one of the following:

  1. Use of emojis/emoticons:

    Emojis are currently not supported by Catermonkey. Have you placed an emoji somewhere in a text box? If so, please remove it.

  2. Copied email content with external links or images:

    Have you pasted text from an email into an assignment (e.g. an image or link)?

    External content such as this can cause error messages when generating or downloading documents (like PDF's).
