Suppose you want the customer to be able to leave a comment on a quote immediately, for example, a change in the number of people. You can now add a comment field to the quote.
How do you add the field?
Go to Quote, email and brands.
Click on Manage quotation templates.
Go to the template where you want to add the field.
Add a text box in the right place and, if necessary, an introductory text (e.g.: ‘Add a comment below if there are any changes or other requests.’)
Click on the green Insert variable button.
Under Quotation variables, search for Quote - customer remark.
Save the changes.
Where can the customer add a comment?
The customer can add a comment where you have added the variable.
Where can you find the comment?
You can find the comment in the quote. Click to open it.
Do you also receive a notification?
Yes. You will receive an email when the customer leaves a comment. The email also states what the comment is and which order it relates to.
