Within a menu/package, you can let customers choose between certain dishes in this package. You can also let them choose products to supplement the package.
Where do you set this up?
In Catermonkey, go to Website Widgets and open one of the widgets. Scroll down to Products that visitors can choose and add a package here.
Next to the package (e.g. Dutch Buffet), click on Widget settings:
Creating a dropdown menu
Click on Alternatives at the top of the bar and then on + Add selection group:
You will now see Group 1. If you want the customer to choose 1 of the 4 salads, for example, enter " Salads" as the Name of this group , set the minimum number to choose to 1 and the maximum number to choose to 1 as well :
Then, under -- Select alternative --, click on the dishes you want to add as choices.
You can also optionally add a surcharge here. The price of the package will then be automatically adjusted based on the choice with the surcharge.
By clicking on + add selection group, you can create a new group . This allows you to set up multiple selection groups within the same package.
Click on the cross in the top right-hand corner of the screen to close the package widget settings and save the changes.
In the widget, you will now see a selection option for salads in this package:
Products as additions to a package
Click on Additions at the top of the bar. Here you will see a list of all the products included in the package. By default, these are set to a fixed number.
You can also add a supplement to the package here. For example, a bottle of wine with the Italian buffet:
If you click on supplement, you can indicate how much this product costs as a supplement to the package.
Click on the cross at the top right of the screen to close the package widget settings and save the changes.
In the widget, you will now see an additional option for the Italian buffet in this package:
The customer can enter a number here themselves, without the price of the package being adjusted.
