Yes, it is possible to reserve a room or meeting space via your website by using a widget in Catermonkey. Follow these steps to set it up:
Create a widget: Follow these instructions to create a widget for your website: The basics: creating a widget.
Add your venue:
In the ‘Add products’ field, select the name of the room you want to make available for reservations.
Is the room not yet listed as a product in the Assortment? Then add it as ‘non-food’.
Adjust widget settings:
Click on Widget settings to the right of the product name.
Tick the box “Number not selectable” and enter a fixed number (this indicates how many rooms are available for booking).
Optional settings:
Link the location (room) to the product:
Click on Widget settings to the right of the product name.
Click on More options at the bottom.
Under ‘Do you want to link this product to a specific location, such as a room?’, select the corresponding location.
Add time slots:
Click on More options.
The option ‘Do you want to link this product to a specific location, such as a room?’ will appear. Make your selection here and add the available time slots during which the room can be reserved (e.g. from 9:00 to 12:00).
If you want to add multiple time slots, tick the green check mark to fill in more time slots.
Set room rental per hour:
Click on Prices and scales at the top.
Select ‘Scale prices based on hours’ and enter the room rental per hour.
After completing these steps, your hall or meeting room will be available for booking via your website!
