What is a production list?
A production list shows all the totals of dishes that need to be made. The list automatically counts all dishes – for one or more orders at the same time.
You can even generate different production lists for different departments in the kitchen. This way, everyone knows exactly what needs to be made and you can work efficiently in each department.
How do you generate a production list?
Select the orders in the calendar for which you want to generate the production list (or do this within a single order).
Click on Lists and overviews and then on Production list.
The production list screen will open:
Tick or untick the boxes to determine which information you want to display or break down.
Click on'Refresh preview' at the bottom left to view a preview of the production list at the bottom of the screen. This allows you to see immediately what each tick does.
How do you use the checklist?
Click on 2. Generate online list, and share it with your team if desired, or download it.
Optionally, tick the colleagues (administrator accounts) with whom you want to share the creation list (you can also share the link with them later).
Click on Generate and share list (or download the list as an Excel file: useful if you want to print the list).
A new screen will open where you can start working immediately.
Tick off the dishes one by one as soon as they are made. Everything you tick is automatically saved:
Multiple users can tick off items at the same time:
Do you work with multiple administrator accounts in the same cooking list? You can see who is ticking off items in real time and who is currently working on the list in the top right-hand corner.
View recipe
If you have set a recipe for a dish, you can open the recipe directly via this icon next to the dish:
Changes to the order
Are you making changes to the order? Then generate a new production list.
Please note: previously ticked dishes will not be remembered in the new version. You can always find older versions via Previously generated lists.
Extra: Categorising the make list
You can create different make lists for the different departments in the kitchen. This way, everyone knows exactly what needs to be made and you can work efficiently per department. How to set it up:
Open the product range
Click on a food/drinks product
Scroll to Link production list
Select a production list from the list or click on '+ Manage production lists' to add a new one. Examples of production lists include Snacks (hot), Snacks (cold), Sandwiches, Starters, Main courses, etc.
Click on Save changes
Products without a linked make list will appear under "Uncategorised" in the list.
It is not possible to remove certain products from a make list. For example, assign these products to the make list "Do not make" or "Not applicable".
